Arizona Psychiatry is an outpatient psychiatric practice dedicated to providing expert mental health care in Tucson, Marana, Oro Valley, and the surrounding areas of Southern Arizona. What We Do

Our Psychiatrists

Neeraj Chauhan, DO

Dr. Chauhan is a native of Arizona and received his doctorate from Lake Erie College of Osteopathic Medicine. He completed residency in Psychiatry at the University of Arizona where he received extensive training in emergency, adult, geriatric, and consult-liaison psychiatry. He is a Clinical Assistant Professor of Psychiatry at the University of Arizona College of Medicine. Dr. Chauhan’s professional interests lie in the fields of neurobiology and pharmacology, and he is highly skilled in the nuanced medication management of complex patients, including those with neuropsychiatric conditions as well as those with multiple medical and behavioral health comorbidities. Dr. Chauhan has worked at internationally recognized addiction and rehabilitation facilities such as Sierra Tucson in Southwest Arizona. He is board-certified in Adult Psychiatry.

Tyler Dowling, MD

Dr. Dowling is a board-certified Adult Psychiatrist. He completed premedical training at the University of Pennsylvania and received his medical degree from Geisinger Commonwealth School of Medicine. He completed both his residency and fellowship training at the University of Arizona. Prior to medical school he was a competitive athlete at the national level as well as a science consultant and technical writer on a forensic documentary television program. He is highly skilled in clarifying complex behavioral issues and treats a wide variety of clinical disorders. He has lectured on multiple topics, including the neuroscience of psychopathy, violence in the workplace, and the manipulative tactics of criminal perpetrators.

George Hadeed, MD

Dr. Hadeed is a board-certified psychiatrist in Tucson, Arizona, specializing in the treatment of mood disorders and substance use disorders in adults. With a commitment to compassionate, evidence-based care, he tailors treatment plans to meet each patient’s unique needs. A proud Arizona Wildcat, Dr. Hadeed earned his medical degree from the University of Arizona College of Medicine and completed his Adult Psychiatry Residency at the University of Arizona Department of Psychiatry. Dr. Hadeed is board-certified in both Adult Psychiatry and Addiction Medicine.  More information about Dr. Hadeed can be found on his website.

Irfan Fauq, MD

Dr. Fauq earned his medical degree from Florida International University in Miami, FL, in 2014 and completed his psychiatry residency at the University of Arizona College of Medicine – Tucson in 2018. His professional interests include schizophrenia, psychosomatics, novel therapeutics for PTSD, and psychedelic-assisted treatments such as ketamine therapy. Dr. Fauq is board-certified in Adult Psychiatry.
